“Elsinore sounds tighter and more focused with each successive MP3. The Champaign, Ill., band has developed a knack for punchy choruses with well-timed falsetto crooning and the occasional Beach Boys-esque four-part harmonies” -- A.V. Club | The Onion (Chicago) “Yes Yes Yes, the long-awaited LP by Elsinore, is finally in stores. It may be clichéd to say it was worth the wait, but so be it. The disc delivers smart songcraft, classical melodic conventions and Ryan Groff‘s high-reaching vocals — in other words, the traits that have made the Champaign band a regional favorite.” -- Riverfront Times (St Louis) “The 10-track Yes Yes Yes is an indie-pop gem, full of gorgeous vocal harmonies and challenging instrumental arrangements.” -- MAGNET “So with Elsinore, well, I guess I should just say that this is one of the most compelling examples of good pop music that I’ve heard in a while.” -- Muzzle of Bees “Ultimately, Yes Yes Yes is the portrait of a band about to break out onto a larger level, possibly a national level. While that may sound like a tall order, if there were ever an album that could fill it, this is that album.” -- Smile Politely - -- - -- - Bio:
Champaign, IL’s, Elsinore, has created the ultimate moment of certainty with the Yes Yes Yes full length. Channeling the work of modern-day masters Ben Gibbard and Sufjan Stevens, songwriter Ryan Groff, has crafted a batch of vivacious yet personal songs that joyfully soundtrack the simplistic bliss of life in the Midwest. Recorded over two years and a thousand studio hours, Yes Yes Yes is a textured and dynamic song-scape. The album flows organically through epic, passionate rockers (Landlocked, Gasoline), hushed and intimate confessions (Body of Water, Breathing Light), and playful accounts of legendary locals (Chemicals). Groff’s Thom Yorke-esque voice elicits moods of vulnerability and positivity, and pulls from the entire spectrum of love itself. The album was co-produced with Adam Schmitt(HUM, Headlights) and Anthony Gravino, and was mastered by Jon Pines (Billy Bragg & Wilco, Jay Bennett, Braid) in Champaign-Urbana, IL. Yes Yes Yes is much more than a statement of positivity. It’s an enthusiastic realization; an honest and autobiographical display of humanism. These are stories of self-examination, sacrifice, compromise, and lessons learned, all leading to the avoidance of a quarter-life crisis. - -- - -- - Music Videos:
